In all honesty though, I really do have so much to be thankful for, and not just this weekend. I actually started to keep a little journal to "track" or record the different things I'm thankful for each day. On the cover it says "Things that make me happy!"
I could probably fill a library when I stop and think and look around at all that I'm thankful for. First on my list is definitely my healthy family and a job that I adore!
I also started asking my kids more often to share what they are thankful for - I love how simple and humorous their answers are - such a great way for me to remember the little things and just GIVE THANKS more often.
A moment of gratitude really does make a difference in your attitude.
The more thankful you are for things and people, the happier you will be.
