The Power Couple – Vitamin C & E

As the days are getting longer and hopefully the sun makes more appearances …. we need to be mindful of protecting our skin! SO next time you make a smoothie, throw in a peeled kiwi! This amazing fruit delivers both vitamins C and E – and this nutrient combo is a power couple when it comes to protecting skin against the sun’s UV rays. Getting these 2 vitamins together boosts your skin’s resistance to aging from UVA rays and sunburn from UVB rays! Kiwi are packed with free-radical-blasting antioxidants & anti-inflammatory properties (although we can’t rely on the fruit alone … be sure to follow a smart sunscreen routine as well)!
